The Non-Profit That Provides Grants For Infertility Procedures Introduces New Fund Awarding Financial Support for Patients with Cancelled Cycles due to Covid-19 Clinic Closures
April 28, 2020–Los Angeles, CA: Pamela Hirsch, Founder of Baby Quest Foundation, the non-profit organization that awards financial assistance for procedures such as In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and gestational surrogacy, has teamed up with marketing strategist, infertility awareness advocate, and Fertilust blogger, Nathalie Carpenter,
To identify and survey members from the infertility community who have been affected by cancelled cycles during Covid-19 clinic closures and, more specifically, discover the financial ramifications.
The survey will inform the creation of Baby Quest Foundation’s Resume Grants.
These grants will help underwrite finances for patients with added medication or clinic fees needed to resume IVF cycles which were cancelled after treatment began.
“With the current halt to infertility treatments, many women were stranded mid-cycle, meaning, not only are they frustrated to be put on hold.
they may have to pay extra medication and/or clinic fees when they resume treatment,” said Baby Quest Founder Pamela Hirsch. “For some who struggled with the initial cost to embark upon IVF, this may add an element that is insurmountable.”
“Baby Quest Foundation holds a special place in my heart because every able potential parent or couple should have the chance to expand their family and Baby Quest grants make that possible.
I am grateful to play a small part in supporting the infertility community in obtaining the financial resources needed and especially during such an uncertain time,” said Nathalie Carpenter.
Last week during National Infertility Awareness Week, an information-gathering survey was distributed to the infertility community and posted by numerous influencers in the infertility arena.
The survey will close on Thursday, May 21. In the meantime, the organizations are aligning sponsors to grow the fund to support the awarding of significant grants to those “strapped” financially to resume treatment. 100% of proceeds will go to these grants.
