My baby girl is now 3 months old! Wow how the time flies. It seems like she was just born. I have been loving every second I have with her, she is a bundle of joy and such a sweetie pie. I have been so blessed to be able to exclusively breast feed her up until now. I am still breastfeeding but there are times now where I have to be away from her. So I had to start introducing her to a bottle with my breast milk. I will admit I was very worried about how she would respond, keeping our breastfeeding bond is extremely important to me. I have been using the NUK Simply Natural Bottles, and the transition has been much easier than I thought it would be. Not only did baby take the bottle well, but she also went right back to breastfeeding without a glitch.
These bottles are designed to help baby feel close to mom and be as close to a breast as possible. They have multiple holes on the nipple to be more like mother’s breast.
They are also shaped more like a mother’s nipple and are made from an extra soft silicone that is flexible so baby can get a latch that is similar to breast feeding. The bottles can also grow with baby as they have 3 flow rates available for the nipples.
For my first time feeding baby with the bottles, I did it when I was at home. I just pumped one side at first. That way, if the bottle is rejected, I was there to feed her on my breast. My baby girl didn’t have any trouble taking the NUK Simply Natural Bottles. In fact, she ate really well just like she does with me feeding her on my breast. I was so happy and so relieved. I have had to give her a bottle several times since then and she has done well each time. I really like knowing that when I am away she will be able to eat peacefully just like she would if I was home.
Big brother and sister really enjoyed having the chance to feed baby girl for the first time. I loved being able to let them bond with her in this way.
I received the NUK Simply Natural Newborn Gift Set. It comes with 4 bottles, 2 extra nipples, and 3 pacifiers. It is a great starter set for transitioning baby to the bottle.
My baby girl also likes the pacifiers from the set. The panda one is so stinking cute!
